It is a pleasure to invite you to the 2025 Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Congress, being held June 26-29 at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park.

For the first time, we are partnering with CureSHANK to organize this event. CureSHANK’s 2nd Annual Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Drug Development Symposium, aimed at the scientific community, will be held June 26-27. It will be followed, from June 28-29, by the III Scientific Conference of the Spanish Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Association, designed for families, doctors, researchers and other healthcare professionals.

With this joint event, we hope to strengthen the Phelan-McDermid community, unite our voices, and advance together.

The III Scientific Conference of the Spanish Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Association will be a great opportunity to learn firsthand about the latest developments made in Phelan-McDermid syndrome research. The professionals attending will provide updated information on the syndrome, as well as research results and new therapies.

We will have simultaneous translation in several languages to facilitate the participation of people from other countries. Additionally, families will have the opportunity to meet with a professional expert in the syndrome’s genetics to explain their child’s genetic reports.

As in previous years, we will offer a free childcare service with specialized staff from June 28-29, allowing you to attend the presentations with peace of mind.

Finally, on June 28 evening, we invite you to share a moment together at a social dinner at the Port Vela Restaurant in the Port of Barcelona. As always, we will be delighted to share this time together and exchange experiences.
